Happy birthday Madison

Madison had been bugging us every time we drive by the space needle. And since it's her birthday, we decided to have dinner there Saturday evening. We had the VIP treatment, thanks to our friend Zara. We were able to get a window seat and meet the sous chef and tour his kitchen. I can't believe how much work chef's have to do. It's crazy.

Madison and Kianna had a wonderful time. Madison especially liked the orbital dessert and the notes that are left on the window.

It was a fun day of celebration.

back to reality

We were lazy yesterday.  We ended up letting our luggage just sit in the hallway and the girls watched movies (Tangled & Bedtime Stories).  I have a feeling that the luggage will be sitting there for awhile.  It's nice to come back home but I wish we took two weeks of vacation, maybe next year. Time to start saving my PTO. 

Kianna and I took Maxiumus to the vet yesterday.  He got his vaccinations.  We'll be scheduling him for his neuter this coming month but we'll have to pay an additional $80 on top of what his insurance covers because his balls didn't fall to his scrotum.  It's stuck in his groin area.  GREAT!! 


We'll be busy this spring.  Kianna will start her toss-pitch season. Her Jamboree is this weekend already.  Tito will be starting up basketball again and I'll be continuing my training for the 8K next month.  As for Madison, no activities for her yet.  Although, her birthday is coming up soon, we've made plans to visit the space needle and go to the children's museum on her birthday.  She's always bugging us about wanting to go to the space needle.

We have now settled in the condo in San Diego. Another tiring day is slowly winding down. The girls decided they were hungry again after swimming. Luckily I packed some ramen noodles. And Tito has a long night of homework. As for me, I'll be washing our laundry from the past couple days we've been here.

We get to sleep in tomorrow!! Yipee!! Seaworld is only a few minutes away from us so we won't need to wake up early. Then after that, we are headed to the outlets.

Day 1of FUN!

The Girls got up this morning excited to get out of the condo.  They ate their breakfast and got their shorts and Minnie ears on.

Our journey begins at Disneyland for the first two hours since they open early then, we are headin' to California Adventure.  We will be spending all day there and eating at Ariel's Grotto for lunch with the princesses of Disney.

Your probably wondering why I'm blogging at this time when we should be out and about having fun.  We should be out of the condo, right?  Well, guess who we are waiting for.  Yup, that's right, Tito.  As usual, he is the last to get ready.  I don't blame him.  He slept in because he only got one hour of sleep before we left from Seattle.  Poor guy has homework during vacation.

Today's over

We ate lunch at Pinks Hot Dog, ate dinner at In and Out Burger and did our grocery shopping. Even though I'm pooped, I've prepared our snacks, water bottles and the girls clothes for an exciting day at Disneyland tomorrow. Man, I'm already exhausted thinking about it.

Madison brought along a fake Maximus and in the picture, this is exactly what he would be doing if he actually came with us.

Eating and shopping...

When we're on vacation, all that Jing wants to do is eat and shop, especially at stores like this. The "specialty" and expensive stores.

The girls are now whining and wanting to geta movin'. Now that jing is done browsing through his stores, we are now heading to the condo.

HOLY CRAP! The houses on Beverly blvd are so so so so pretty!

Geez the further we go down Beverly blvd, it get's ghetto. Where is our GPS taking us??!!

Layover

We are in Reno waiting patiently to depart again. Kianna would not stop asking , "are we there yet?". So to keep her quiet, I gave her the nintendo DS.

As for Madison she is knocked out!!!
