We LOVE our SUBARU
the car
So, we've been carless for the past 5 days. This past Saturday, Tito and I were on our way to pick up his shoes, a father's day present, at Tacoma Mall. (I thought he was done with getting Jordans. I thought wrong.)
It was a beautiful day, the sun was out and our windows rolled down, well one window rolled down, the other is broken, and our car wouldn't start. We tried to start the car once, twice, and the third time was a charm. It started but while we were trying to look for the freeway entrance to I-5, our car starts to over heat. So we pulled into a residential street. (I think I got tan just from sitting in the car) We wait awhile to have the engine cool down for about 15 minutes. We start her up again and we're fine and made it home. That was it. Our poor ol' black civic is busted. (YES! It's busted!) No more 2 door car. We went through 2 babies and 1 dog with this car. I'm not sure how it happened and how we got through it but we did.
It's been a pain not having a car and asking our friends and relatives for rides, it's time to get a 4 door car. Today, we will be going to the Subaru dealership and HOPEFULLY we'll find a car that we like. We want something like this...
... a 2011 Subaru Outback in the same exact color graphite gray and with tinted windows. Ohh imagine the space in the back seat and the trunk. Tito wants to put a snack emegency kit in the back. Yeah, it's probably going to be him eating most of the snacks. Maximus won't have to be on the floor or in between the booster and the car seats of the small cramped civic. Wish us luck car shopping.
